19th July 2019, Kuala Lumpur – MyWorld launched the WOWNations Prepaid VISA Card, in collaboration with Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) and VISA, in conjunction with the Hatchery Area Opening Ceremony of Malaysia International Retail & Franchise (MIRF) Exhibition, at KL Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur today.
The launch was officiated by Minister of Entrepreneur Development, YB Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof alongside MyWorld Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Dr Sunny Tan, and Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) President, Dato’ Seri Garry Chua.
MyWorld Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Dr Sunny Tan said in a media briefing that the WOWNations’ intention is to create value add to the members by introducing 1 to 1 real rewards whereby the amount they spend at our participating merchants, they will be rewarded Points based on the exact value of money they have spent. The Points can be used in 2,500 merchants all over Malaysia for redemption purposes.
“We continuously strive to form new strategic partnerships to improve the card member base – We are currently working closely with Ministry of Tourism & Culture and Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA), to target a total of 36.5 million cards to be distributed by Year 2020” added Datuk Dr Sunny Tan.

迈沃集团与马来西亚零售连锁协会（MRCA）以及VISA合作，于今天在吉隆坡会议中心举行的马来西亚国际连锁加盟展（MIRF）的开幕日，一起推出了WOWNations VISA预付卡。马来西亚企业家发展部（MED）部长拿督莫哈末礼端尤索夫（YBhg. Datuk Mohd. Redzuan Yusof）于2019年7月19日特别参访迈沃集团的展位，并推介了WOWNations VISA预付卡，他也亲自在模拟造型卡上签下大名
迈沃集团董事长兼首席执行官拿督陈汉铭博士受访时表示，WOWNations主要透过1比1的奖励机制，透过线上与线下的商家消费，给予百分百返点的奖励优惠。会员们获得的积分可在马来西亚各地的2500家商户使用，用于兑换。
“我们将持续努力建立新的战略合作伙伴关系，以让会员们可以更广泛使用此平台和预付卡。我们目前与大马旅游局和合作社（ANGKASA）紧密合作，目标是在2020年之前发出总共3,650万张卡” 拿督陈汉铭博士补充。
